1. Mount, burn or extract the ISO image

2. Begin installation by clicking the drive letter in "My Computer"

3. PRE-CRACK THE GAME: the crack will actually be applied while the game installs.

__Once DirectX has finished installing, and while the game is installing
__you must "pre" crack the game with the "Borderlands.exe" from the
__included "Install" folder.
__With the Wise Installation wizard still running,
__copy "Borderlands.exe" from the "Install" folder and
__REPLACE EXISTING FILE located in the installation folder:

____C:\Program Files\2K Games\Gearbox Software\Borderlands\Binaries

4. FINAL CRACK: this crack will also be applied while the game installs

__Continue the installation, but before installation finishes,
__(you'll need to be alert here!) you must place the Final Crack.

__Special note:
__In this step you will be placing the 2nd crack in
__a different folder than where the original is, so
__YOU WILL NOT BE PROMPTED TO REPLACE THE EXISTING FILE

5. Play the Retail - by using the desktop shortcut

Both cracks will be applied during the installation phase following completion of DirectX install, picture #3 below. As indicated, you'll have approx. 12 min to get it done.
You do not have to wait until the last minute to crack. As soon as DirectX has finished, you can crack. Get it right, and as your reward . . .
